Clay Arvidson will be writing a column called Clay's Corner to highlight information about various topics related to wines, spirits & beer that are not general knowledge. Visit his corner often to learn more about wineries, vineyards, grapes, spirits, distilleries and other related topics.
Clay spent 34 plus years as an educator, the last nine as a junior high school administrator. A couple of his hobbies are wine-making and gourmet cooking and eating, especially pairing foods and wine. In addition to taking the Mastering Wine class at the Culinary Institute, Clay has taken other wine-tasting and cooking classes around the metropolitan area.
After he retired from education, he turned his avocation into his vocation. Working at Aurora Wines and Spirits allows him to use his skills as an educator and have a lot of fun helping customers with their wine, beer and spirits selections.
Through Clay's Corner, Clay plans to assist Aurora customers in getting a "behind the scenes" look at the art of enhancing life with wine & spirits.
